Technology Manager Computer Science (all genders welcome)

To this end, we proactively observe and research new technologies and technology trends. For the management of this technology and its evaluation, we are looking for a technology manager with a strong background in computer science and software development. You will be part of our Artificial Intelligence Platform and responsible for management and strategic planning, especially for the application and processing of large amounts of data. Your results will be closely linked to the professionalization of machine learning, data processing and customer applications.
Duties and responsibilities
- Organize the technology field Computation, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
- Define and adjust needed technology development projects in close collaboration with strategy department, internal project requesters and technology specialist
- Initiate projects with low technology readiness level and manage results
- Management, structuring and assessment of new developments and trend technologies in this field
- Act as Entrepreneur for assigned technologies
- Act as contact person and be supporter for scientists and developers as well as external partners like universities, institutes and companies
- Participation at conferences, fairs and customer visits
Appreciated qualification and experience
- Master or PhD in Computer Science or related studies
- Several years of experience in the development of Software Engineering, Data Engineering
- Experience in operative technology management and technology assessment
- Visionary thinking, excellent communication skills, quick perception, and interest in learning new things
- High degree of structuring, preparing and moderate of decision making, high resilience and proactive behavior
- Very good command of the English and German language both written and spoken
